Local File Upload, Convert and Export
The browser File API reads the selected file into the page. The current package does not send the file to a conversion endpoint. This is useful for ordinary text-based data that you want to inspect before exporting.
Supported scope
JSON, conventional CSV, element-oriented XML, common JSON-compatible YAML and plain text are supported. Large datasets, binary office formats, advanced XML or full YAML features need dedicated tooling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I edit the file before conversion?
Yes. After loading, the File Contents box is editable so you can make a correction before converting.
Will the output work in Excel?
Flat CSV output follows conventional comma-separated quoting rules. Check leading zeros and types before importing into a spreadsheet.
